Our “Royalty”
In America, we obviously don’t have a monarchy. All the pomp and circumstance associated with the Royal Wedding in London today is something foreign to us — no pun intended. However, it’s important to remember that birthright does not bring entitlement. This doesn’t mean that in America we never had “royalty” of our own. Case and point:
